Flushes are fine. I had one done to my 03 F150 a couple of years ago. Around 160k miles, too. It shifts just fine. If the trans goes after a flush, it was done for, anyway as most of the clutch material was probably anywhere BUT where it belonged . Not even at a dealership, either. Cost? Call a shop and ask? Yes.
