What is the impact speed when a car moving at 100km/h bumps into the rear of another car traveling in the same direction at 66 km/h?
google jeff hamliton jackets and ask them.
I would say give the firemen a call or just stop by the station and ask if you could schedule a time for them to come by and tell you were to put the smoke detectors. They should be in the hallway near all the bedrooms, at the top of the stairs from the basement and to the second floor, you can put it in the kitchen but make sure it is on the far side of the room so that there are less accidental activations. One CO detector should be plugged in low on the wall on every floor. Just as aside you should sleep with your door closed because it will buy you valuable seconds should you have a fire and will also contain the fire it is in a room.
be sure to put near EVERY bedroom in the house. Hallway and close to the kitchen but not to close because any smoke will set it off. I hope they are battery and not electricial. Electrical are nice, but if the wiring in the home burns then there goes the alarm ringing too. If you have electricalalso, get battery back ups.
