how many years can tires be driven without risk?
check dot number on side wall last four numbers tell when it was made how to read dot numbers how to read tire wear how to read tire tread 5 yrs maybe but knowing how to check and what to look for like tire wear and tread depth heat cracks mean more to you than how old they are where i live they good for about two yrs cause its hot most days and the tire dry out and side walls crack bad
depends on how much driving you do when the tread gets down to 5/32 replace them or if you notice weather cracks in the tire replace them or if they wear uneven replace them, I would not run a set of tires more than 4 years.
Tires will be good for about 6 years if you take very good care of both them and the vehicle as well
