im doing a class project and im looking for an untapped market which will be exploding in the near future . My company is a bioplastics producer (they make plastic cups and stuff out of corn ) and i had the idea that we could make alternative fiberglass for cars and things to be manufactured with . So my question is is the resin or plastic or whatever you want to call it that is used to make automotive fiberglass rigid strong and resistant to the elements a petroleum product ? and if not what in fact IS it derived from ?

By law, your only required to wear a decent helmet and sensible foot wear. Depending on the company you learn with, they may issue further health and safety guidelines. I would recommend wearing a decent helmet, a form of heavy jacket (preferably leather), gloves, heavy trousers (preferably leather or decent denim) and decent boots. I myself have a new helmet, leather jacket, leather waistcoat, leather trousers and leather spiked gloves. I only have work boots but I'm getting proper boots soon.
