*Take note to add a minimum of (4)psi for faucets or water heaters to work properly for the needed rate of pressure increase for every meter climbed. Unsure really, but is the diameter of the pipe is relative to this query? If not, kindly include the diameter cross section to the proportion formula.
Plastic will hold up much better than fiberglass. even though its strong, fiberglass will chip and abs can withstand much abuse and it solid. fiberglass consist of many strands. It also takes forever for plastic to degrade when covered with paint. steel is my favorite overall but they stopped using them on cars.
SAFER barrier. Rather than slamming into concrete, they have created a wall that gives on impact. You could gather info on deaths due to crashes before the SAFER barrier was build (ie Adam Petty, Earnhardt) and now (ie Michael McDowell's crash at Texas). Look up the Hans device, the LaJoi seat, window nets, slower pit road speeds, crewmen wearing helmets and fire suits. If you look at older Nascar races, there were no speed limits on pit road and crewmen wore street clothes to pit. As far as the car, look up window nets, full face masks, no smoking in the car (I believe it was Dick Trickle who used to light up on yellow flags), the new Car of Tomorrow, roll cages, and the larger size of the vehicle. I hope all these ideas help!
