what is the procedure for removing the windshield wiper arms on a 1987 dodge ram van?
On the underside of the pivot on the wiper arm, where the post comes up from the motor linkage, there is a small lever that must be pressed to remove the wiper arm. a small pick bent to a ninety degree angle works well to get into the tight lil spot they are in. As you press the the lever outwards, pull up on the wiper arm. This should pull the wiper loose.
Where the arm attaches to the wiper transmission there will be a plastic cover that is hinged pop it up and then there will be a nut I think 14mm remove it then you have to either pry it up or use a puller I have found that if you give it a tap with a hammer and then use a battery terminal puller you will be able to remove them with no problem.
