i am just about to put bleach blonde highlights in my hair it says dont add heat.does that mean to not use uliminum foil? ive heard that it creates heat.or is it just to seperate the hair?
It is too late now, so give it a good drying, particularly allowing the cavity drainTry to balance on a rack bum end down for 15-20 minutes covered with clean tea towels.
I did that to chicken before and it was fine when I cooked itDon't worry about itThe water will evaporate when you put it in the oven anywayJust set it out on towels and let drip dry for a whileDon't worry! It'll be fine and besides, now you know and you won't do that again next year, right? I always have to learn from my mistakes too;-) Happy Thanksgiving!
As long as you kept it cool, it will be fineMatter of fact, some people swear air drying the turkey (in the fridge) makes for a crisper skinI'd do away with the foil though.just put it back in the crock pot thing, covered, and go ahead with the cooking in the am:)
The reason cooks tell you to thaw it in the bag is to preserve the flavorAll that water and soaking can take some of the flavor out, as well as vitamins and nutrientsDo this: put the turkey is a bag, like a zip lock or even a large plastic bag and make sure the air is out of itThen, place it back in the cold waterIf you absolutely have to, put it in the bathtub and submerge it in cold waterMake sure it is coldNo, you haven't ruined itIf you're really worried, season it well with sage, thyme, seasoned salt and white or cracked black pap perYou're fine! Another thing you can do to add flavor is to add onions, celery, bell peppers and carrots to the cavity and the pan around the TurkeyMmmmmm.and use melted butter inside and outGood Luck and Happy Thanksgiving!
it separates the hair so colors won't bleed into one another but check the foils periodically you may need to dampen hair with more bleach if it dries too much it will stop workingyou only aplly heat if you want the color to lift moreBut not too much.
