Question:

What is wrong with my internet connection?

I play Xbox live and I recently starting lagging very badly mostly in the evenings. We got a new cable modem from our ISP and it fixed the problem for a matter of weeks, but then it started doing it again. If it keeps happening it can't be the modem right? I was also thinking that since it usually happens at night that it was because everybody in the neighborhood was getting on and sucking the connection away from everybody else, but if I get a new modem and it fixes it then it wouldn't be that either. How can I get a good connection so I don't lag out everytime I play?

Answer:

Coat hangers! Shape a wire one like a giant paperclip. The paperclip is your best weapon! lol I really miss rubber band wars.
your car may have over heated because the engine was working much harder than usual in order to overcome the rear brakes. the rattling noise may be the rear brake parts that are now worn. or that speed bump knocked something a little loose. without looking at it, I can't say for sure but I don't think you would have really messed your car up.
no the ebrake should be fine maybe a bit worn out but nothing to worry about. The bump could of done a lil damage just take it to a shop and have them check it out they should do this for free btw and then call around for a good Price if somethng is broken
Since the Toyota manufactured Lexus has a 180 degree thermostat it naturally does not run as hot as most cars. Town driving over time is brutal on engine oil as fuel contamination, blow by and moisture can't be driven off as well as miles driven on the open road. Your motor is not ruined but excess gum and varnish will form if you let things get out of hand. At a bare minimum an oil change at your Lexis or any new car dealer is a good rule of thumb. You have a valuable car and you should avoid fast oil change shops. Too many horror stories and mistakes are made.
watch so that on that speed bump you dint possibly bottom out the front end, which could crack or make a leak in the oil pan, leading to more friction, causing it to overheat, but like everyone else is saying you probably drove it too hard because of the extra load, check your rear brakes to make sure the pads aren't worn too thin. if you have rear disc brakes, then it might just be a combination of drum and disc, then you would only wear out the shoes inside the drum, not the pads because they'd wear like normal brakingeveryone makes mistakes
