i have the HP Photosmart C4600 Series printer, and it works perfectly, but when i go to print something, i load the tray with paper, and then when it goes to print, the right side pulls in the paper really fast, and the left side ;; not as fast. So the paper gets all crumpled and stuck and it says out of paper. I've tried tons of different angles, and opening up stuff, and i can't figure it out.What should i do ?
Contact Maintenance and bluff your way out of it say you thought the alarm was battery operated and you were trying to make sure the battery worked. never mind that it's plugged in the wall; act daft and say you have a major phobia of fires. act panic-ed and pathetic and maybe they will believe you, take pity on you and fix it without fining you. or just be honest. you want them to fix a broken fire alarm. P.S. you probably did everything correct to re-install it, but, you may just need to press a button (somewhere) to re-set it. and it will stop buzzing.
I just asked my husband who does all our plumbing work, though he's not a plumber by trade. He says it's like a pipe wrench, and it's adjustable. I hope this helps. Louise
The smoke detector could just be resetting. Lei it go on for a few seconds if it does not stop push the test button, maybe it is stuck. Or just let it stay on and call maintenance and they will replace it thinking it is faulty. You get a new smoke alarm and no fine. Besides it was an accident anyway.
