Question:

What is your favorite hockey stick?

What is your favoirte hockey stick maunfacturer?

Answer:

All time : Titan ASD 2000 fibreglass reinforced shaft with a hybrid wood/abs blade, Gilmour pattern. There was hardly a day when I was in highschool that I didn't play at least 2 hours of hockey so I needed a stick I could use on ice and asphalt, and this one lasted forever. Among those in my current arsenal, Easton A/C 6000 graphite shaft with aluminum tip (otherwise it's exactly like the Ultra Lite) with fibreglass blade - on my last Bauer GT Lindros (hate his guts as far as politics go, my brother was a Nordiques fan - but the mid-curve matches my play perfectly) when that one breaks I will start using some Hespeler Gretzky blades I got at Peranis Oh and for goalie sticks all time: Heaton10 Brodeur pattern. But now that I can no longer find it, I have switched to a Sherwood 9950 Lalime pattern 26in paddle. Jeff : while I agree that other companies are Easton immitators, I believe it was the Fontaine Graphite Pro (made by Louisville) and endorsed primarily by Luc Robitaille and Steve Duchesne that preceeded the Easton Ultra Lite as far as the first NHL-endorsed graphite shaft. Because as I recall I had an aluminum before that, an Easton HXC 6000 Convex, remember that one?
I like Eastons. They usually make a real good stick. Right now I have a Reebok. I have the acuflex one, and I really like it, it's my favorite stick I've had. It's lightweight, has enough flex, but not too much so it's whippy, I like the curve on it and its durable. The brandsI've had wer a few wooden Koho's, a Sherwood, then I got an Easton Ultra-Lite which was actually a real good stick, a Synergy Grip.I loved it the first year I had it and then I actually still had my Ultra-Lite and I put an extension on that one so it fit me and I used that one, then just this year I got my RBK Acuflex and I love it, but I have no clue how their other stick are. I guess sticks are all about feel, because I almost got a Vapor once, but once I picked it up and had it for a couple minutes just playing around, I hated it, but they're pretty popular sticks so.
