Vale Tudo gloves have no palm, and the glove is simply attached loops over the first joint of the digits. Pride has the lace up wrist, and partially covers the hand near the thumb. UFC gloves enclose the top of the palm with the middle open. I want to know which, in your experience, are the most comfortable.What do you think?

Sometimes alarms are installed in attics and / or crawl spaces, or even closets, you could be hearing an alarm there too. Disconnecting the alarms from the hard wiring and removing the batteries means you have totally non functional fire alarms. I'd reconnect the hard wiring, as it should keep the units functioning (assuming they have power going to them). And replacing the batteries asap is a wise plan.
