Question:

What kind of door alarms can I install to comply with town code?

I just installed an in ground pool, and the building department said I needed to install a displacement alarm in the pool and that all doors leading to the pool need to have an alarm on them which will sound when someone opens the door.I purchased the displacement alarm at a pool supply store, but I have an issue with the 2 doors that lead from the house to the pool. The alarm that is sold in the pool supply store seems to be designed for a conventional door that opens in or out. It has aligned clips that, when separated after the door is opened, sounds the alarm, but I also have a sliding glass door. It doesn't open in or out. It opens across. What kind of alarm can I use on a sliding glass door for this purpose and where can I get it?

Answer:

Ammonia usually works, but be careful with it (goggles, gloves, and plenty of ventilation)
boil the egg b4 the competition and then you can win then to fool people just wrap it in some soft stuff
styrofoam then bubble wrap and a para shoot
Wrap it in cloth, add cotton pads on the sides where eggs break the most, wrap the enitire in a rubber sheet, styrofoam and bubble wrap. Then attach a cloth parachute to the top.
