My friend gave me a kawasaki 440 ltd that just needs a little engine work and some tires. It takes a few miles of gravel to get to my pavement from my house, but after that I have about 25 miles of pavement at 60mph to get to work. What would be a good set of tires for both the gravel and highway pavement? The rear is a 130/90/16 and the front is a 100/90/19. The only thing I‘ve been able to find that looks good for the rear is the Duro HF904 but i found a review that says that tire falls apart after running at speeds above 60 for long distances. If I were to put a 120/90/16 on the rear my options open up quite a bit, would it be ok to put a slightly smaller tire on the rear? For the front I found tons of options so I‘m more just curious if anyone has any specific tires they would suggest. Thanks for your help!
Is the tyre the main outstanding fitment, is it a similar dimensions with the aid of fact the previous tyre, does it have a similar profile (some are greater triangular, some are rounder)? verify the strain. Then learn the component to the tyre – is the course arrow pointing interior the main outstanding course? To get a bouncing experience your wheel might could be heavily unbalanced. Is it spoked – once you run a spanner over the spokes do they make a musical be conscious or a lifeless sound?
oldgregg235 If you need express the spare part to fix your automovile, and the not as much expensive one!, you must go here, I used it and I recieved the huge atention!
Since the bike was free spend a little more for good tires, it's a safety investment that worth it. The Metzler Tourance are the tires that BMW and Triumph put on their dual-sport bikes, work great on the road and wear pretty nicely too.
