Here are a few programs to get back the admin password, of the 5 listed only one works with one. ot_administra
There are various programs out there that let you guess passwords. You can, of course, re-install the OS blowing away the password database. Certainly, once you have done that and re-established your administratorial privileges, you should completely revoke his access. However, I think it would be better to have your son do it for you. You haven't told us how old he is, but it seems to me that if he is still a minor, you can make his life miserable until he does it for you. By going around this and essentially sneakly restoring your privileges, you are teaching that being sneaky is good. And you're upping the ante - he's just going to do it again.
Take the cloth to JoAnn Fabrics, or another fabric store. Ask one of the associates there if they carry that fabric or a similar fabric. I know that JoAnn Fabrics has utility fabrics and an assortment of unusual costume fabrics this time of year. Good luck!
If you tap the CTRL-ALT-DEL keys as a combination twice when the system starts up it will give an option of how you want to start the system. Click on the option which says safe mode. When the log on screen appears there should be an account named Administrator this is an account that is built into the system. If you click on the account it will give you access to the system. Then all you will need to do is go in to the control panel and create yourself an administrator account. You will then have to reboot your system as normal and go into the account you created. If you have windows xp profesional you will be able to change you sons password. To do this you will have to use the Local Users And Groups tool. To get to the local users and groups tool you will have to go to the start menu click run then type lusrmgr.msc then click run and it should open a tool called Local users and groups. Double click on the tab which says users right click on your sons account and click set password. Choose a password. Then double click on your sons account and you can set other restrictions so your son can not change his password or even disable his account. Hope this helps you:)
