You need a 30cm smooth bucket wheel so he doesn't hurt his feet. This is the best one ever: Carolina storm bucket wheel My hedgie loves it. If you get one with any ridges, horrible as it sounds to say this, it's feet could get really bloody and tender after running all night :) good luck!
