Just found out my tire had a nail in it and need to find a place that will do it reliably. Any suggestions?
Sears, K-mart, or WalMart auto shops, or any place that sells tires has the equipment and knowledge to repair the tire.
Many Walmart TLE centers will NOT patch a tire for you. Take it to an independent garage or auto shop. They'll dismount the tire, put a patch and plug in it, and leak-test it before sending you back out on the road. Whatever you do, if you want to save the tire, do NOT put that Slime or Fix-a-Flat in it. Just drive on the spare until you can get the tire patched.
Just about any tire shop will patch your tire. They will remove the tire and patch it from the inside. Keep in mind they can only patch it if its in the tread if its on the shoulder or sidewall you will need a new tire.
