Question:

What precautions should be taken when sparring without a mouthguard (boxing)?

I have appropriate boxing GLOVES and HELMET for both of us. I have experience in Karate and Boxing, its not a new thing. We're just going to safely practise sparring, until we invest in mouthguards. Aside from avoiding punch-throwing to the chins, what other precautions should be taken? (i.e. clenching your jaw, avoiding face contact completely, etc)

Answer:

why do you care? your name is wrestling is for queers
Taking out smoke detectors is probably the dumbest thing you could do. If they are not working properly have an electrician replace them. Smoke detectors are there to save lives and depending upon where you live it could very well be against the law to remove them and even if its not why would you want to put yourself at that kind of risk.
