Question:

what's a good way to stop static electric shocks in wintertime?

I'm like a walking lightning rod!!With the weather cold and very dry at the moment, everything I touch gives me a zap sometimes a teeny weeny zap to an all-round electrical charge, that I can feel vibrate! Like when I accidentally touched the prong on the Christmas lights cord!!! Sometimes I've even seen a gigantic flash! :/Someone suggested getting a magnetic bracelet when I commented on how I could feel the static coming off WALLS, even, and other furniture, when standing several inches away!Certainly I have a few clothing items made from synthetic fabrics (and I DO use fabric softener/anti-statics), and I'm not about to rush out an buy a wardrobe of exclusively natural fibres. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Answer:

Perhaps but you have to admit they make a damn cool decoration. That would get my vote.
Sears at one time had Dressers and Chest-o-drawers that were wooden replicas of Craftsman Tool Boxes painted red with the Craftsman Logo on it. I thought that would be cool for a boys room
Why that is just downright mean
