What's the difference between a floating shift bearing and a thrust ball bearing?

Answer:

The floating shift bearing and thrust ball bearing have different structural types, different bearing directions and different uses.
This design ensures the inner ring of the bearing in operation when the relative outer ring can float freely, but also can achieve high speed angular contact ball bearings (speed higher than the ordinary cylindrical roller bearing two times faster), especially suitable for electric spindle.
The floating shifting bearing is composed of the outer ring of the ball bearing and the inner ring of the roller bearing of the cylindrical roller (without the baffle type), and the rolling body is a ceramic ball.
