What's the difference between a TEFC motor and a regular motor

What's the difference between a TEFC motor and a regular motor

Answer:

The TEFC motor is a fully enclosed fan cooled motor, and the TEFC motor is a self-ventilated cold motor. Motors can be used in open or fully enclosed enclosures and can be used in very hostile environments. The air that is used for ventilation (provided by the user) enters the motor through the duct, and the heat is discharged through the duct. Cooling air is used internally or externally. Weather-proof motor is ventilated with open hull. The structure of the motor makes the electric parts of the electric parts that enter the motor, the snow, and the particles in the air to be minimized. The external air can be recycled through the motor to the cooling effect.
TEFC motor is a self-ventilated machine. The average TEFC motor is IP54. General motors are usually dc motors. There is a brush dc motor stator for a magnet (or field coil), and the rotor is a coil. Due to the coil current needs into the rotation, and because the coil rotating 180 degrees to exchange a direction, the current through the coil, therefore, has a brush dc motor using changement between coil and current. The commutator is composed of a commutator and brush with a directional exchange function.
The TEFC motor is cooled by the air of the motor casing, and the air is provided by the fan mounted on the motor shaft. The common motor USES the fan ventilation cooling on the shaft of the machine, forcing the air to flow through the open end of the motor, from both sides.
