I have a rayovac 15 minute battery charger, and when i go to charge the batteries, it charges for about three minutes and then shuts off. When i went to put the batteries in the camera, they were empty! Is it the charger, or the batteries? I've had it for about nine months. Thanks!

plug the charger in, THEN insert the batteries. If u did that, either the batteries are toast or the charger is. try a different set of batteries or a different charger.
