Question:

What solid front axle has 8x6.5 lug pattern with driver side differential and high pinion.?

What model trucks would this axle be on. I‘m looking to replace my IFS but need a little help on what truck to look for in the junkyard,

Answer:

solid axle has no drive, that would be like the old ford I-beam front (not twin I-beam) so there would be no pinion on it. also I know of NO passenger or pickuptruck vehicle with a pinion above the axle. what is an IFS , independent front suspension? you want a standard drive axle housing to replace your independent front drive system? is that what you are asking??? your nuts. but if that is what you want, the closest thing you would come is probably a drive axle for a old army deuce and a half (2-1/2 ton truck) the bolt pattern has about a 4 hole in the middle and is 8 on one and 10 on another, not 6.5 look up deuce and a half on the internet
