Question:

What substrate for my leopard gecko eggs?

hi i want to know what substrate i can use other than vermiculite and perlite because i cant find any of those substrates pleas help?

Answer:

Any garden centre or hardware store should sell vermiculite, as its primary use is as a potting soil improver.
Peat moss works fine. :)
Many will work but i would go with moss. moss is soft so when the eggs hatch they wont get hurt. large grained things like sand can harm your new born leopard gecko. No sand should ever be used. you don't have to just stick with moss. pretty much anything that holds moisture well and its soft enough for baby's. most local pet stores or even big ones sell moss in large bags for around 7 dollars. glad i could help.
