Question:

What supplies the water for fire hydrants in New York?

Is there a reservoir nearby? Do they draw it straight from the river? It isn't saltwater from the ocean, is it?

Answer:

Well my comments are that your friend and your friends friend sound like irresponsible idiots. You do not owe them any money. But then you also are not entitled to a puppy, they can choose not to sell you one. That was very nice of you to offer to pay for a spay. If they are refusing to pay for the spay maybe you could make a deal with them that you will help ppay for this litter IF the agree to get their dog spayed after. Get it in a written contract. It's a pretty sucky situation and good for you for trying to do the right thing. I hope everything works out!
Might give them a nice massage you know a nice rub down always makes you feel good
The owner of the bit** is the owner of the puppies, period. Their problem is not your problem, so don't allow it to be. It's their fault assuming that your boy is the one and only sire of the litter (which with these idiots I would be very wary of) You can't get her spayed without their consent and you are under no obligation to pay for anything. If it were me, I would not want to take a puppy because it complicates the whole issue.
I have read your answers to your previous question and frankly don't know why you are asking again. You've chosen your BA. If you wanted more answers, you should have left the question /extended it rather than asking twice. Repeating the same question can be seen as spamming. I have to agree with the answer you chose as BA before. Just to confirm - you cannot get her spayed. She doesn't belong to you. And actually, if push comes to shove, these people actually owe you a STUD FEE - lol!! But I advise you not to go down that road. Just make sure your dog isn't in a position to be involved like this, ever again. I don't do castration other than for medical reasons but all animals must be properly confined and controlled, so mistakes cannot happen. Good point about whether your dog IS the sire of her litter - or the only one!!! If she's running loose when in season goodness knows how many males might have got to her
Just another clueless BYBer Neuter your mutt. They can sue you for all the vet bills since you didn't neuter your ill bred mutt and bred it to their dog. They need to take their dog ot a vet and have a gravid spay done. They are saying i have to contribute and help pay for all the vet and puppy stuff. Your mutt knocked up their mutt so yes you have to pay for it. They are well with in their rights to not let you have one of the mutt puppies. You keep saying you dont want the mutt puppies but then back peddle and say you do want them so they can live outside 247 on a farm like your unaltered mutt making more mutts You can't take their dog so you can sell the mutt puppies. The dog belongs to them and they can sell all the ill bred mutt puppies and not let you have any if they want.
