last night there was a business fire alarm going off for about five minutes. My question is what to do when you hear a fire alarm going off?Shoud I have Called Police/Fire?Thank You :-)
THIS IS AN INDICATOR TO FIRE-FIGHTERS THAT THERE IS A HYDRANT AT THAT PLACE TO AID IN CASE OF FIRE OR OTHER EMERGENCY NEEDS!!
That your near a hospital or a fire hydrant.
One really can't answer this without knowing where you live (weather conditions expected). If you live in a temperate climate (south) and do not experience real winter conditions, Option A is best. If you live in the North, and you expected real weather changes, Option B is best.
I don't know what the code is but I live in an apartment complex and they have one fire extinguisher for every two apartments. They were in the wall between the two apartments. One upstairs, one downstairs. My mom's apartment has about 4 apts in a downstairs area and they have like one for that. Maybe you could call some local apartment complexes and ask them what their requirements are for the extinguishers.
It should identify the location of a fire-hydrant on the side of the street.
