Question:

What to do with crock from crockpot that no longer works?

I have a perfectly good, large crock with lid, but the crockpot it fits into no longer worksThe crock is so nice I hate to throw it away, but not sure how to use itAny ideas?

Answer:

Either you could reduce the oven temperature for that recipe or you could try to raise the baking sheet so that its not on the bottom most rack
Too hot, you gotta cook it slowly aka don't put it on the highest temperature
What temperature are you baking these at? If your temp is too high, you may be burning the outside before the inside has time to cook.
this happened when I experimented with different doughs Are you focking stupid? They didn't turn out because you fkuced with the recipeDUH.
You can use it for a baking crock in the ovenIf the lid is glass then that is a plus, but if the lid is plastic, then you can bake with the crock using aluminum foil over the crock, then when it is ready to serve, you can use the plastic lid to keep it covered and warmIf you're not into baking that much, then you can use it as an indoor planter(Put small rocks in the bottom for drainge, since it doesn't have a hole in the bottom) .Or you can use it as a catch-all bowl by the door where you can put your keys and stuff as you walk in.
