Call your cell phone provider. That is what you are paying them for.
Cheap fire extinguishers have a plastic head on them (at the top of the bottle). Better quality fire extinguishers have metal heads. The metal ones can be refilled, but not the plastic ones. Most people buy the cheaper plastic ones. Doing it yourself - I seriously doubt you have the equipment to do so. Not to mention, while you THINK there is some chemical left, are you really willing to take that chance? Are you going to risk the lives of your family on the chance that there is enough chemical left to do the job? I don't think that extinguishers are filled with air as the propellant. After all, that would just be giving the fire oxygen too. I'm sure it is carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide or some such gas that will help to put out the fire by taking the place of the oxygen rich air. Got any Carbon Dioxide laying around the house? Didn't think so. Face it, you don't want to admit to anyone that you used it because then you'd have to admit about what caused the fire that you had to put out, which means you'd have to admit you did something, well, stupid. Am I right? I was a teenager once too. Your mom is not going to be happy about the fire, but you need to man up and take your lumps. She'll be far more impressed by your honesty and forthrightness if you just come clean. If you don't have the backbone for that, make up some story about how it got used. Someone driving by the house had their car catch fire (a bit far fetched)? Maybe you accidentally knocked it over and as it fell down the stairs, the pin came out and it went off? I would not normally espouse lying, but if you can't be honest and face your judgement for your own actions, don't let your fear of punishment put your family at risk by leaving them unprotected from a fire.
