Question:

What type of security is present at the Niagara Falls Bridge (Rainbow Bridge)?

When driving through, is your car quot;x-rayedquot;? I've drove past last year, but it didn't seem like security was really that heightenedEveryone in the car with me was asked for ID (passport) and that was itIf l had someone in my trunk, would they even know?

Answer:

I'm not an expertbut here it goes: - oven thermometer - kitchen timer - 2 flat baking pans / cookie sheets (shiny aluminum) - parchment paper or nonstick silpat mat (to line pan) - graduated measuring cups (1, 1/2 , 1/3 1/4 cup) - measuring spoons - mixing bowls (large and small) - big wooden spoon (if mixing by hand) - KitchenAid mixer (if not mixing by hand) - cookie cutters - long rolling pin - thin edge metal spatula (for removing cookies from pan) - sieve (for sprinkling powdered sugar and sifting flour) - icing bags and tips (for decorating cookies) - wire rack (for cooling cookies) - air tight container (for storing cookies) I hope this helps.
The security is the same as when you return to the USThe border officers, in many locations, are now armed where they were not in the pastOther then that, they do the ID check and they are trained to ask questions that may or may not lead them to order a secondary search of the car or vehicleThey watch for subtle signs of deception and they pull cars over at random for secondary searches The simple fact of the matter is that they just cannot search every vehicle coming over just due to the sheer volume of traffic across the borderLarger trucks and train cars are subjected to more of a search, sometimes including x-ray, but for others it's just too impracticalThere is no science fiction x-ray machine involved to scan the rest of the car traffic.
