I know that the Chargers had a GREAT defensive game last night, but where has that been all year??? Also, the O didn't even show up other than Darren Sproles on kick offs and punts!!! That was the worst offensive preformance by them in seasons! 6 turnovers and only 9 points off of them. What are the Chargers going to do if they play like this the rest of the season? Good or bad thing? Will they make it through the playoffs? I'm a HUGE fan, but the offensive is too shakey for the GREAT D Your Thoughts? Would you have sat the Chargers D against the Colts compared to the Panthers D vs ATL.?
I going to have to say that it was the Chargers great defensive that won them the game, but the Colts injuries. Without Harrison and Gonzo out there for Peyton Manning, the Chargers DBS can attempt to double cover the colts WRs as well as drop safeties back into zone for interceptions
I would have honestly sat the Chargers D and started the Panthers D. I thought Peyton and the running game was going to go ape **** against this defense but I was obviously wrong. I am sorry to say but they need to get Rivers out of there. He can't get the ball to his receivers and the team can't put it on LT's shoulders much longer. They have a great receiving corps in Gates-Jackson-Chambers and LT coming out of the back field there is no excuse for the offense to be playing like it is; BUT IT ALL STARTS AT THE QB POSITION. In Rivers last three games he has thrown 3TDs-3INTs, and for the season he is 10TDs-10INTs and is averaging 193passyds/game. That is not not not good. If the Super Chargers want to make it to the playoffs this year Rivers needs to step his game up tenfold; lucky enough for you the Chargers participate in the AFC Horrible division so they should make it to the playoffs, but just to be creamed by the Patriots-Colts. Charger's D was good because Manning was awful. Miami could have beaten the Colts last night. Rivers was a great fantasy player for me last year, but not now. I don't understand how Rivers is so inconsistant with a head coach who is supposed to be tops at nurturing young QBs. No one believes in the Norv Turner. He really blew his challenges last night and was out of flags when he needed one. That team is really too inconsistant to play anyone but Gates in fantasy. I feel sorry for the guys who wasted their first pick on LT.
