most hand trucks come with straps that you can really improve the security of the load. try to have a second person holding the bottom of the dolley for more stability
If they are the smoke/fire alarms you bought at the store then all they do is alert you, and you have to call the the FD yourself. If they were installed with a home security system they may be activated to auto dial the fire company. You can check with the people who put in the security system.
First, calculate how much a liter of 1 M would be. 1 M is defined as 1 mol per liter (that is why you first start with a liter). 1 mole of acetic acid would be 60.05 gram, but it is 1.05 kg per liter. So 60.05 gram would be 0.0605/1.05 0.0576 liter 57.62 milliliter. So to make 1 liter of 1 M acetic acid, you would need 57.6 milliliter, and add water up to 1 liter end volume. (it would actually be safer to first take e.g. 500 ml water, add the acetic acid, then fill up with water to 1 liter). But you will only need to make 10 ml, so 100x less. So you will need 576 microliter of glacial acetic acid in an end volume of 10 ml. Be very careful when pipetting glacial acetic acid! If this is your first time, be sure to be proper educated. Wear safety glasses, gloves and do NOT pipet with your mouth! Best would be to work in a safety cabinet. Good luck.
