Question:

What would a small piece of neutron star material (say, 1/3 inch cubed) look like?

If you are going to tell me that you couldn't keep it on Earth, because it would sink to the centre, then what about if it was in space, and you built a space ship AROUND it? Would it be black, or reflective, or what? What other tests would you make on it? Could you survive being near it?

Answer:

If you have upstairs rooms make sure that you have either a ladder to throw out of the window to climb down in case of a fire or you have a fire retardant blanket to wrap themselves in and get down some other way. Also, make sure that you have a written and drawn plan of escape (at least two different ways) from each room. A child should practice at least one every six months on how to get out of their bedroom, living room and any other room that is hard to get out of in case of an emergency. Make sure that you have a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, utility room and any other room with electrical devices or appliances. These need to be checked once a year to make sure they are operational. The best thing to do is take a class together as a family or by yourself to prepare for fire safety. Also, if you have pets get a pet identification sticker and paste it on your front door or front windows so that in case something happens while you are away or unable to speak the Fire Fighters know to save your pets. Hope this helps.
No. Flea and tick shampoo is very harsh and should only be used if your dog is infested with fleas or ticks. If you use it too often, it can dry out your dog's skin and cause irritation. Opt for a gentler oatmeal formula moisturizing shampoo for regular baths, and never use people shampoo or soap as these can both be far too harsh and drying for dog skin. You'd be well advised to get your dog on a monthly topical prescription flea and tick preventative too. It's better to prevent the problem before it starts than to try and fix it once your pup is already getting eaten up!
Put your shirt in a pillow case and tie or pin it shut. Fill washer half way with clothes and place your pillow case in next to the outer wall of washer.finish filling with clothes.Wash as usual. The reason you put it next to the outer wall is because if it's next to the agitator there is a higher likely hood of the safety pins getting caught in the agitator and pulling out.
