I am re-designing the home kitchen fire extinguisher and need to hear ideal functions, features, and designs of the ideal home fire extinguisher for kitchen fires. Anything from functional for the elderly to safe for children. Anything from size and shape and color to kind of spray or handle. The more specific the better!
I ruined the thermostat in a gas oven by doing thatwith the door open, the oven will have to produce heat constantly to try to reach the temperature that you have it set onbut the heat is leaving it so it can never reach (or hold) that temp. Eventually, the thermostat burns out. The oven would still get hot, but you couldn't use it for cooking/baking anymore because you couldn't get a set temperature. It could be turned on or off, but not set for any specific temp. If you don't mind replacing the oven, go for it. EDIT: Excellent reminder by the other poster regarding carbon monoxide. I did have a detector in my home at that time because of the gas range, and gas space heaters.
some alarms go off due to the slightest thing it could go off for like how the guy above said a voltage draw it can trigger the alarm ti can also go off from the vibration of the door closing even after a few minutes go on the vibration still travels throughout the car even when we cannot feel it, alarms go off all the time for small things maybe just look into a new alarm that isn't so sensitive.
