What yamaha motorcycle should i get?

When i turn fourteen im gettin my motorcycle license and i wanna know what bike i should get. i want a yamaha cuz yamaha is just awesome. i want one that is really fast but yet gets good gas mileage and plenty of gears. i dont mind havin manuel transmission.

Answer:

Your radiator contains your transmission cooler. It is a seperate radiator inside the engines radiator that cools the transmission fluid.
theres a transmision cooler built into the radiator, its not removable. dont sweat your getting a new radiator
WR 450 enduro are a great bike. The power to weight ratio allows Learners to legally ride them. This bike is great for road and trail use although they are quite high. Another good one is the TT 230. it is lower and a good learners bike still with plenty of grunt. Good Luck and ride hard.
I don't know what you've been told but you ain't gettin no motorcycle license at 14. You can't even get a learners permit until 15. Its fine that you like Yamaha's cuz they're just awesome.but if you think you can go right out and go fast with the big boys you are wrong. First you should take the MSF cycle course; they supply the bike and the instruction will provide for you a much needed reality check about street riding. if your parents even THINK about setting you free on a R6, that would be highly irresponsible. Your first ride should be something similar to what you take the course with. Ride safe. Stay alive. Don't give motorcycling a bad name.
First, take a motorcycle safety class by MSF. It will teach you a ton and may save your life, and you get to ride little Honda Rebels. I always recommend the Kawasaki Ninja 250 to everyone as a beginner bike because they're fun, cheap, readily available and you won't tire of it after after the first season. The smallest Yamaha sport bike is a 600. There are smaller V Star crusers like the 250 but it's air cooled and won't be able to withstand sustained speeds of over 70 without issues. The 650 is good. What do I know? I ride a Honda Shadow and have only owned 1 Yamaha, my favorite a 650 Special II, still miss it.
