I want to start on knitting a bag that I plan to feltbut what warn weight should I use? I know to use 100% woolor other yarn that comes from animals, but I can't seem to find what weight is best.Oh, and do colors fade much when you felt? I kind of wanted to use red and black, but I am worried that the colors will fade/run so should I use one color?
yarn that felt can be any animal fiber like wool, alpaca, mohair, angora, cashmere long as the yarn isnt a superwash or bleached and is at least 80% animal fiber it will felt just finethe colors dont fade at all when you felt, as for the colors running into one another I dont think that you have much to worry abouttry using a worsted or a dk weight yarn.
Styrofoam containers al your doing taking it home with you! don't need some new fang-led container.
