Question:

Whatever happened to Jackie Kennedy-Onassis' pink suit?

Recently I visited the former textbook depository in Dallas, where it is believed the shots were fired from that killed JFK. It had a lot of interesting information about the assassination. But I did not see or read anywhere about whatever happened to the bright pink blood-stained suit that Jackie refused to change out of that day. Anyone know?

Answer:

System restore works a little differently in Vista. There is a box that you can check that states show me older restore points. If you are in need of using older restore points, I suspect your problem is of a harder type. I reccomend booting to the OS disk. System restore is also available there, which is nice because in XP, if you couldn't go to safe mode, then you would have to do a manual registry restore from the recovery console which is a little messy. Anyway, boot to the CD (if it's a Dell, push F12 at boot and then choose to boot to the CD drive. Otherwise go to BIOS and set tje boot order to CD drive first). Vista will ask you to specify your keyboard layout and then it will ask you to log into an account. If you select Administrator, you will get a message that the account has been disabled. Remember UAC (User Access Control) in Vista? Administrator accounts are disabled. Use the drop down to select your user name and put in your password if you have one. Then you will be able to select System Restore. On occasion, it takes a while to pop up and you are not given any indication that the system is trying to load it. Just wait. If you click on system restore again, it will say it is already running and to close the window. That's fine. Just wait, it will come up. Then check the box for older restore points. Everything available will come up. Don't forget about trying startup repair too. I would do that first. Good luck.
it could. It's all dependent on what you are touching. If you are handling Draino then I would not recommend touching your mouth after use.
