as this bike is for experienced motorcylists I would hope that you did get about 2 years experience on a more modest bike . sorry
Since as you mentioned, you are a bigger guy, I would suggest you getting a 650cc twin, before going for the R6 600cc supersport. Normally I would suggest you as a beginner to get a 250cc sport bike, but I think that would be like one of those clown bikes with a giant on a tricycle. It isn't logical. However, going from an absolute beginner straight to a street legal racing bike that can easily do 150mph? I think you are setting yourself up to fail. Also the stance is aggressive on them, they are uncomfortable. They are more expensive, when you really have no chance at using the full power of those bikes outside of a track.

Whatever. Lots of people start with a 599cc racing motorcycle. Most do not die. Know that the far majority of people who die on motorcycles wear all the necessary safety equipment helmet,gloves,jacket,boots, ect. (sic) Not my problem, go kill yourself.
