whats the diffrence between carpets and rugs?
Carpets are wall-to-wall... rugs are pieces of carpet with finished edges, or specially-made pieces, still with finished edges. Rugs are used to accent specific areas.
It depens on where you live, but carpets are usually smaller then rugs and only cover a section of a room. Rugs are usually wall to wall, but some people call carpets area rugs.
Carpets are what's in the upscale homes. Rugs is what us poor folks got.
