I just bought a used motorcycle and there are two extra front lights added onto it. The switch that turns these lights on is broken. What is the name of this type of switch so that I can find a replacement? It‘s just a tiny little switch on the left-hand mirror. It‘s been added on, it‘s not an original part of the motorcycle.
Sounds like an aftermarket automotive fog light switch. You could probably find a replacement at any auto parts store, but before you hook the new switch up again, you should trace the wiring to make sure the system is wired correctly. If it's not, it could cause more problems somewhere down the road.
