i ride a 08 kawasaki vulcan 900 custom and i cant seem to find a white wall rear tire wider than 180mm . is there one out there?
With contamination (the wrong fluid put into it including D.O.T. 5 brake fluid) all seals will eventually break down and ether leak or seize. It would be nice if they could tell you what is in the fluid to determine if it is contaminated or you just had one bad caliper.
depends on what's contaminated. if there's some rust or something, it can plug one brake line and keep that brake from relaxing
just get the fluid flushed out and a new caliper for the side that is locking up and see what happens.
A 180 is going to be THE widest tire you can put on the bike!!!! The next szie wider is a 200, POSSIBLY a 190(rare), your stock rim is not wide enough to properly fit a 200 tire on it and there is not enough belt clearance to run a 200. The bike was designed for a 180stick with 180also running a wider tire will affect the handing characteristics of the bike.
