Question:

whats up with nitrogen tire inflation? iis it good for motorcycle tires?

whats up with nitrogen tire inflation? iis it good for motorcycle tires?

Answer:

Nitrogen doesn't expand and contract like regular air when subject to different temperatures so the tire pressure is more constant. When the tires get hot due to high speed driving, oxygen is a highly rective oxidant and can break down the innter tire belts faster. Also, the nitrogen leaks through the rubber 3 or 4 times slower than oxygen so your tires maintain pressure far longer when filled with nitrogen. Nitrogen would be good for any rubber tire.
Nitrogen also has no moisture in in like air does. SO tire wear inside the tire is nearly eliminated.
Gobonzzo all elements expand and contract wen heated or cooled but other than that ur rite
