When is it a good time to wear safety goggles?
Wow. So many people answered it's the absence of the father that is the problem here, and I agree, but NOT EVERY SINGLE MOTHER FAMILY IS CAUSED BY A MAN WILLINGLY LEAVING!!! Why is the single mother still thought of as the victim, and the single father always the villain? Since these problems are caused by the absence of fathers, maybe we should stop forcing fathers out of the picture!! Fathers are consistently marginalized in the child's life by the family courts; they are forced aside and then blamed for not being there. Even standard joint custody gives the child to the father only four days out of the month and he has to pay a lawyer thousands of dollars to even get that. The sad truth is this: (unmarried) mothers have a presumed right to child support, but unmarried fathers do NOT have a presumed right to visitation / custody. So, any woman with a child can run on down to her local DCSE and say she wants child support, and the state will pursue that at no cost to her. If a man wants any rights to that child, however, he needs to hire a lawyer and go to court to get even the left-overs of that child, at a GREAT cost to himself. If he cannot afford it, he is out of luck. The government spends a great deal of money enforcing child support, but there is no one who enforces visitation rights outside of a high-priced lawyer, and even then it's a coin toss. So, to answer your question, the problems in single-parent families are not caused by child support, but by being raised by one parent when the other one is systematically marginalized. Maybe if the fathers were given more rights and more say in their children's lives, some of these problems would be lessened.
Throw a wet towel over to stifle the air.
Depends on how big it is, if it's just a chip pan a damp rag and smother it, do not relift the rag just turn off power supply and get out. If bigger and uncontrollable then just get out and call fire brigade.
any glass cleaner will work just fine.
baking soda or salt, and lots of it. you want to cut off the air supply to the fire. If its in a frying pan or pot, you can also just put a lid on it.
