Question:

where can i buy a 4-Pin PCI-E that converts into a 4 pin molex connector?

does a cord like that even exist? is so where can i buy one?

Answer:

no, since there is no such thing as a 4 pin pci-e connector :/ They have 2x 4 pin molex to 1 6pin pci-e adapters though. EDIT: that is a 4 pin cpu connector. Its supposed to attach to the motherboard near the cpu. If you have a psu that support an 8pin cpu (some require 8pins or 2x4pin, others require just the 4 pin) Anyway, using that to your graphics card will melt the wire and catch on fire. As the graphics card will be pulling the current from only 2 wires instead of 4. (in a 4pin there is 2 12V 2 ground, a 6pin is 4 12v 2 ground, and an 8 pin is 4 12v 4 ground). A molex is the more flat 4 pin connector (molex is a brand of cable manufacturer, but its name caught on like people calling tissues kleenex). There are those 4 pin molex connectors to 6pin pcie connectors for sale. a 4 pin molex also has 2 12V and 2 ground wires. Which is why you NEED to have 2 molexs, otherwise you will catch the wire on fire from too much current draw. Now if you were talking about your cpu power connector (your psu only comes with a single 4 pin, and your cpu needs an 8 pin), then you can buy a molex -6 pin adapter and use that. (its kind of confusing since your question says pci-e not cpu power connector :P) Use the one and connect 2 yellow and 2 black wires (if you connect all 4 yellow wires, you will fry your cpu and motherboard lol). so have 2 yellow cables hand off the edge, and connect 2 yellow and 2 black wires to one 4 pin cpu connector. Then use the actual 4 pin cpu power connector in the other side.
