I have a prudent way 90W 12-24V Notebook AC Adapter and the tip connector has gone bad. I have a hp pavilion dv6000. I feel like it would be stupid to buy another adapter if I can just buy the tip connector. Thanks in advance.
Try Radio Shack, Fry's Electronics in computer parts department of store or stop by any independent local computer repair shops and ask if the have a old power adapter you can buy the end off of.
if u are sure its the tip and not the input on the laptop you can most likely resolder the connections on tip. If not u can buy a new adaptor for usually less than five dollars. Might as well
