Believe it or not, color. Some red ribbons and lace can accent the black in such a way that you've got something really dramatic and gothy. It really depends on if you're going for romantigoth or industrial goth. The lace is good for a romantic look, but a more industrial look would just include some safety pins and perhaps a Dimmu patch. You've got the right idea, though. Goth is all about DIY. If you want, you can email me pictures and tell me what type of gothy look you want and I can give you step-by-step instructions. I'm fairly experienced at modifying clothing.
it is not a crime to pull the alarm if you believe that there is a threat of fire, thats the purpose of the fire alarm. if you pulled it just for fun then it is wrong.
