Answer:

There is a spectrum to the issue of gun control. I'm what some people would conservative. I have no problem with a person owning a handgun for protection, or rifle and/or shotgun for hunting. But I don't understand why the NRA is so opposed to restricting access to hollow point bullets, assault rifles, and large capacity magazines. People can defend themselves or hunt with a 9mm or shotgun. The purpose of the other weapons is solely to kill. If the issue is the second amendment and people believe an armed citizenry can protect themselves from government oppression, well, get real. Can you defend yourself from the firepower of the US military? Perhaps during the first 100 years of American history, but now, no.
Hmm..it wouldn't be thundering INSIDE, now would it? What is it in that sentence? A better sentence would be: Outside, there was thunder and lightning. To modify your original sentence to make sense, you would need to say: It was thundering and lightning was flashing. (You wouldn't need outside. It's understood that such occurrances do not happen indoors.) Lightning only acts as a noun, not a verb. If you only put this up to be cute, I must say that its silliness does raise a chuckle. hee.
No. I own guns and have a concealed weapons permit.
Nope. My thought is the same as it has always been. Guns legal, but anything that only has a purpose of killing humans should be very hard to get, if at all, by the public.
I support the constitution and our right to bear arms. But I also believe that we shoudln't be handing them out without some sort of background check. For example, you wouldn't want to sell a gun to someone with a history of violence or mental instability. Also, if the statistics are to be believed, you wouldn't want to hand a gun to a repeat offender either. Pro-guns, but with sanity checking. ~X~
