Question:

where can I get copper jump rings at?

I need these rings for a project in my medals class. I have tried many stores. I tried Walmart, because they said they had them online, but they really DIDN'T. I also tried Joanna's and Michel's craft stores but they don't know if they are real copper or not. I also even tried home dept., but nothing there.

Answer:

Medals class or metals class? Copper is a poor metal for jump rings as they are usually supposed to be firm and springy and copper in soft on most of its alloy forms. I tried Walmart, because they said they had them online, but they really DIDN'T. Does this mean that you ordered it online and what you got wasn't copper or you wandered into the Walmart and expected to find it? Because a huge percentage of what Walmart offers online is NOT available in the stores because they are very aggressive in having in the stores what sells rapidly. Worse, the craft selection in most Walmart's is extremely limited. You may have to search out suitable wire and make them yourself.
