Question:

Whether to use push in fittings or to solder copper tubing?

Im installing a new fixture behind wall for the bathtub and im debating whether to use push in fittings or to solder. What is more reliable over long periods of time and under water pressure. A plumbers input would be helpful.

Answer:

I think they're a good idea in residential areas. There's no possible reason for people to be speeding in a residential neighbourhood, where there could be kids playing street hockey, people walking dogs, etc. I must admit it kind of bugs me though when they have several speed bumps all in a row. I wish I had a speed bump on my street though. People are always zooming by at like twice the speed limit, and for some reason they treat it as a throughway, even though there are larger streets very close by that they could use in stead.
Most all states require that you park 15 feet away of a fire hydrant and 20 feet away from a fire station.
