I've never had a white leather couch, but we did have a black leather couch at one time. The black leather holds up to kids and pets. I doubt the white leather would do as well. It mightsince you can wipe off most dirt. But it also could show wear and dirt much more than black. White seems slightly riskier than the black in a household with pets and children. (In my opinion both colors look good.)
They do make rubberized pool paint for application on inground concrete pools. I don't remember the price though, it has been years since i used it. You may be able to get a pint/quart at a pool store.
There are some Chevy dealers online that sell parts at a discount. Just google chevrolet dealer parts and you'll get a lot to choose from. They will send it to you and the total for the part, tax and shipping may be less than your local dealer. Or you can try a local locksmith. Quite often they have what you need at a fair price.
