Question:

Which is lighter fiberglass resin or basswood?

I'm building a Co2 dragster car and i would like to know what material is the lightest. Should I pour a mould of fiberglass resin. Or should I stick with the traditional Basswood?

Answer:

It is highly unlikely that you will find anything warm enough where you are. However, waiting until you get here won't work either! This week, the temperature will go to -25C, but, the norms for this time of year are -7C for the high, and -18C for the low. Those are only norms, and it can vary significantly. So, hats, gloves, and several layers would be required. A snowsuit for your son. Get what you can there, and the rest in Edmonton. But, expect it to be expensive. A decent coat will be $200-800, depending on what quality you want. Boots, $100. And so on. To be properly fitted out for winter for you and your son, it could be up to $1000.
Ok, lets assume that it is the landlords responsibility to keep up with a smoke detector. In your case He does not, and for 3 years you let it slide and do nothing. For 3 years nothing. the damn things cost $15 for new and should be replaced, every 2-3 years anyway. You are the one living there, with your family. Lets go to Home Depot and buy 1-2 and place them in the hall and outside the kitchen. Leave the inoperative ones right where they are. Take yours when you leave. Take some responsibility for your own safety.
