4, Falcons, 2, All Star, 2, G.Loomis, 4, Powell, 1, H H. My 2 All Stars are old. All my bait casters are Diawa's except two Pflueger presidents. My spinning reels are all (4) Stradic MgFA. That is just my list for bass fishing and not counting my fly fishing rods, stream spinning gear, or old back backing rods. I have so much fishing gear my wife keeps asking when, I am going to open up a store.
I keep Shakespeares (3) Shimano's (2) of various weights and lengths for fresh water, a Shakespeare Fly rod when in Calif., and more recently got an Uglystik - used it when fishing for saltwater Red Fish in Port Aransas, TX - Love it!!
All of my spinning rods are Ugly Sticks. The reels are all Daiwa with 2 BG 30, 2 BG 60 and 2 BG 90. Trolling rods are all custom made by Capt. Randy Towe of Islamorada, FL and they are wrapped to look just like my Ugly Stick spinning rods. Reels are all Shimano. 2 Charter Specials, 2 TLD 20 and 2 TLD 25.
First the kids need to be taught about the danger of crossing or playing in the street, second when your house is on fire or someone is breaking down your door that speed bump is going to delay the emergency response vehicle. Everything has two sides and needs to be looked at as such.
Calling my collection of fishing rods and tackle a hoard would be an accurate assessment. There are well over 150 of them. I have been fishing for over 4 decades and still have some of my first rods. The list would include most every major brand except for Ugly Stick which I sold at a garage sale, 12 ugly sticks for $100 and was happy to get rid of. I have several of the Original Lightning rods (extremely hard to find) some Pfluger rods (40+ yrs old) True Temper, Shakespeare,Daiwa, Mitchell, Lamiglas, Zebco (over 30 different styles) South Bend, Sportfisher (K Mart blue light specials woohoo), Lew's, Eagle Claw,Bass Pro Bionic Blade, Shimano's, Quantums, Bimini Bay, G-Blanks, Fenwick, Airrus, Abu, All Star, BR Outlaw, Powell, G Loomis, Kistler, and last but not least a Ronco Pocket Fisherman. The bad part is I have reels for all of them and during the cold of winter while fishing is slow, I take all my bass reels apart, clean, oil grease them. It usually takes several evenings to get-r-done. I use my bass rods and ultra lite most often but keep lots of spinning rods/reels and spincasting tackle for visitors to use on my pond. A good portion of these were inherited from my Dad after he passed away. Good fishin'!
